Ann Arbor, Michigan detention pond repair

 This is a out let that runs from one pond to another under the street. Over time the

 rip rap has been washed out. If this problem was not addressed soon the entire

outlet culvert could fail and eroded the street.

Here you can see there is no rip rap or holes cut in the side of the steel over flow pipe. The

water leaving the pond can only go over the top of the steel crate. If this crate gets clogged

with debris the water is then forced to flow over the emergency spillway.

We will cut holes in the pipe and back fill with rip rap for a filter.

Restoration was done with sod and grass seed where needed.

You can hardly see where we came in at, and after a couple months no one will be able to tell be made hundreds of trips in and out of this area with skids steer and excavators.
